The consultation begins with a look into your cat’s background, where it was bred, how it settled in with you initially and what behavioural issues have emerged. Based on this information and assessment of your cat’s behaviour, you will be given a thorough breakdown of the reasons behind the issues you are having with your cat. It is important to understand the reasons behind your cat’s behaviour so that you may effectively proceed with the correct techniques to help your cat/ cats.
A comprehensive treatment plan will then be discussed and the relevant training methods demonstrated. This will provide you with all the information and behavioural modification techniques necessary to begin your cat’s rehabilitation. Raychel’s techniques are all reward-based and Raychel is up to date with the latest scientific findings regarding feline behaviour. A written report detailing all that is covered in the consultation will be sent to you within 5 working days.
Initial Behaviour Consultation:
Price: £120 (remote)/ £150 (in person)
2 hour consultation to assess your cats behaviour and the challenges that you are experiencing and devise an appropriate treatment plan with you
Personalised beautifully presented written behaviour report and plan via email and post tailored to your cat's specific needs and your goals.
Unlimited support and guidance via WhatsApp, email, phone for 6 months after your initial consultation
Optional follow up appointments:
60 minute in-person follow up sessions, customised to address the key training issues in a practical and supportive way (£50)
60 minute remote follow up sessions, customised to address the key training issues in a practical and supportive way (£40)

There are no magic ‘fixes’ for behavioural issues cats like in humans. Raychel’s role is to help you understand the reason(s) behind your cat's behavioural issue, to offer you the correct management and behaviour modification techniques, and to provide follow up support to help you with your animals rehabilitation.
We know there is a lot of information and adverts out there that promises quick results, HOWEVER these are most likely using averse methods that could give you short term success and but worsen the problem in the long term.

Consultations with Raychel require a veterinary referral. Your vet will first need to rule out any underlying medical conditions that may be affecting your cat's behaviour. This process is in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act and the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors code of conduct. ANY qualified behaviourist that you contact should adhere to this practice.
